There are many myths out there about well water vs. public water. As a home buyer it can be a hard choice to make. There are so many key points that are important when purchasing a home. The water source should not be the deciding fact.
In New Jersey it is law that a well has to be tested prior to a home selling. This test should put any potential buyer’s mind at ease. If for some reason the well does not pass these tests, there are treatment systems that can be put into place to correct any imbalance that presents itself. As a homeowner in the West Windsor area, I have a well with treatment… I feel very confident in my water as it has been tested and shows no issues after treatment.
